Business Manager

You will be responsible for conducting due diligence and analysis on selected target companies. This opportunity will require the ability to conduct market sizing and competitor research, build financial models and perform high level financial analysis.

At Ideal Ventures, you will also work closely with different teams to execute and manage various projects.

Other duties include:

• Support the Business Directors on the planning, development, and execution of business presentations and reports, to include preparing business plans and pitch decks.
• Play an active role in the day-to-day oversight of project development and execution.
• Lead meetings and presentations.
• Keep stakeholders up to date on all projects, discuss issues and manage expectations on next steps.
• Ensure all requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner.
• Develop meeting briefing documents.

The role reports to the COO and collaborates with team members in various departments across the company.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or similar discipline.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in start-ups and technology.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a business management role.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development, including comprehension high-level legal documents.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems.
• Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
